About This Course

  • To Provide a comprehensive understanding of the historical and cultural context of music.
  • To equip learners with a deeper understanding of Music theory.
  • To enhance knowledge towards Church music, Indian Music and Ethnomusicology.
  • To develop the ability to analyse music, using theoretical, formal and contextual frameworks in research papers.
  • To understand and study the use of modern technology for music recording, composition and production.
  • Ensure performers achieve a high level of skills in performance in one or more instruments or in voice.
